Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution of the Republican Party of Minnesota and the Constitution of the MN 5th Congressional District, the MN 5th Congressional District Convention is hereby called to meet at:

Burroughs Elementary School
1601 W. 50th. St.
Minneapolis, MN 55419
Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 2:00 P.M.

Registration opens at 1:00 PM, and closes 30 minutes after the Convention is called to order.

$40 Advanced Registration up until Noon on Thursday April 25, 2024

$60 Registration at the door

$40 Guest Registration

You may also mail a check, but it must be postmarked before April 23rd. Make payable to CD5 RPM and mail to: 7321 Melody Dr. NE, Fridley, MN 55432. Credit Card payment will also be available at the venue. 

The MN 5th Congressional District Convention shall be composed of the delegates and alternates elected at the 2024 BPOU Conventions designated as lying within the boundaries of the MN 5th Congressional District.

The Convention shall be held for the purpose of:

1. Endorsement of U.S. Congressional District Candidate
2. Election of National Convention Delegates and Alternates
3. Election of Elector and Alternate to the Electoral College
4. Other business as may properly come before this Convention

Anyone seeking endorsement for Congress or wishes to run for Elector must appear before the Nominating Committee before April 16th.
